Aleve is over the counter (OTC) drug of Naproxen Sodium and categorized in Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory drug or NSAID. Aleve is used to as pain reliever for conditions caused by headache, muscle aches, backache, toothache, temporary fever, menstrual cramps, arthritis, tendinitis or gout.
